A guided builder that turns family photos into print-ready yearbook tribute pages
The Challenge
Yearbook tribute ads used to mean a lot of manual coordination: families emailing photos and text back and forth, staff assembling pages by hand and a production process that did not scale. Tribute Ads needed a self-serve experience polished enough for families to enjoy using, and predictable enough to run a business on.
What We Built
Families and schools use the app to build a full page tribute for a student by uploading and cropping photos, entering and formatting text, and laying everything out to match the look of the final printed yearbook. We built it as an Angular and .NET application with full admin controls for managing accounts, schools and reporting across the business.
Behind the scenes, a semi-automated process generates the final print pages, which get compiled and sent to the publisher to be produced as the actual book. Something that used to involve hours of manual coordination per ad is now a smooth, self-serve experience for families and a predictable production pipeline for the team.
